Grease 2
Alright, here's (yet) another '50's hood. This was done over ten years ago. He reminds me of Danny Zuco on 'roids.
My Wife says I'm supposed to talk about things other than myself on my blog. Otherwise, I'll seem pretentious and people will get bored.
I'm a Man Vs. Food fanatic. Adam Richman is my T.V. best friend.

Watch it for a week and see if you don't start eating your scrambled eggs by the dozen with a 30 minute time limit.

I see faces...
I can't help but look at people. I don't know if it's because I'm a visual person or if I just stare too much. When I'm speaking to someone, I don't just make eye-contact, I make face-contact. I notice everything. Be warned: If you have a "bat in the cave", I'll notice.

Superhero Collage
I've always loved comics. I especially dig the DC heroes that I grew up with (watching The Super Friends on Saturday morning, playing with the toys and things like that). Here's a collage of heroes I did back in the day (translation: over ten years ago). I've made it into one, single bookmark for my own personal use (which I've since lost). I'm a merchandising God.

Welcome...
My buddy Dan and I were discussing our art and how "real life" has gotten in the way of our true artistic goals. As a kid, I had always assumed I'd be the next Charles Schultz (though admittedly, I never really did anything proactive to claim that mantle). Although I've done some commercial art jobs through the years for various clients I never felt that I reached my full potential. Perhaps it's in my future? Maybe I'll be like Rodney Dangerfield and "peak" professionally in my 40's? In the meantime, I just need to draw for me, if no one else. I'm just putting it out there. Consider this blog my virtual sketchbook.
This is the sketch Dan and I talked about. It's a pen and ink on cardboard drawn while he and I were on the phone discussing our lives...
Not sure what Sha-Na-Na had to do with it?
